ANU Nation certainly pulls all of its tricks out of its hat in order to stimulate our senses. Sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch will be galvanized on some level through your engagement of the various learning components offered through ANU Nation aimed to enhance your spiritual growth and learning experience.
In this moment we're exploring an Enlightenment and Transformation production. Chief Yuya releases his 3rd mixtape entitled "Arrive Together." In this powerful master mixtape Chief takes us on an unexpected journey; an emotional roller coaster of sorts, where, as always; there lies a lesson.
One moment you want to dance, and the very next cry, as beneath the surface lies a story of passion, desire, lust, love, sex, delusion, and spirituality between you and ____??
It's up to you to fill in the blanks. More importantly; it's up to you to decide whether or not, in the end, if you and your companion will; "Arrive Together."
ANU Spiritual Training Student and ANU Asafo host KM shares her perspective:
In the beginning the mixtape had a very witchy and sensual vibe to it, a sort of sex magic showing us the connection between sex, dance, and spirituality. But then it shifts into a companion piece to Chief Yuya's book "Solutions for Dysfunctional Family Relationships."
"Can you find purpose in your pleasure?" Chief charges us with this question which forces us to explore the misonception between love, and lust and whether or not we truly understand what they mean. Love and passion burns hot and fast, but if there is a collective purpose and mission; that's eternal.
The shift to Stevie's "Superwoman" teaches us how once the passion and desire burns out; in comes the dysfunction that was consciously ignored in the initial stages all for the sake of lust, passion, love, or our misunderstanding of it; causing us to become deulsional in relationships becuase we have lost sight of our primary purpose .
This mixtape forces us to examine our relationship patterns and question what will we have in the end after it's all said and done. Will we leave a legacy behind; or be left behind?
